The test program can be specified digitally, e.g. by a PLC. The PLC must set the select input (outside the test process). The PLC now applies the digital combination to the pins. The PLC resets the select input and thus forces the acceptance of the program. In this way, 63 test programs can be preselected.

The following sequence must be specified (pins of the ETL-IO):

• The PLC connects the digital combination to pins 19 - 24.
• The PLC now sets the select input (outside the test process) and thus forces the acceptance of the program.
• The PLC resets the select input
• The PLC can now cancel the digital combination at pins 19 - 24.
• The program was previously stored as a parameter data set in the test system.

• Input Pin 19 - 24: Program 1 - 63
• Input Pin 18: Program Select
• Pin 1, 14: 24 V DC

The module is installed in the test instrument and is connected to the ETL-IO interface.
